Brief Bio
Dr Ayoob Salari is a Casual Lecturer in Information Technology at King’s Own Institute and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Electrical and Data Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Sydney, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. He has more than six years of higher-education teaching experience across data science, predictive analytics, Python programming, business operations analysis, numerical methods, Internet of Things, wireless communications and signal processing. He also has industry experience in telecommunications data analytics, where he developed data-processing workflows, network performance indicators and automated reporting systems. His research interests include wireless sensing, integrated sensing and communications, applied machine learning, time-series and sensor-data analytics, federated learning, 5G/6G systems and environmental monitoring using communication networks. His work has been published in leading IEEE journals, and his professional achievements include an NVIDIA Academic Grant and a patented wireless-charging system.
