Brief Bio
Dr. Shahidul Islam is a Lecturer at School of IT, King's Own Institute (KOI), Sydney campus. He received his PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from Macquarie University, Australia, Master of Engineering degree in electronic engineering from University of Technology Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia and Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) degree from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. Dr. Shahidul has 10 years of academic experience as a full time Lecturer at Multimedia University (MMU) in Malaysia. He was also a full time academic as an Assistant Professor at Fiji National University (FNU) in Fiji for a few years. He has been working as a Casual Lecturer at Macquarie University and University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia since 2010. Hs has authored or co-authored more than 20 papers in international journal and conference proceedings. He has supervised 60 UG and PG electrical and elctronic engineering students at UOW and MMU. Dr. Shahidul holds a couple years of industry expereince as an elecreical engineer in Malaysia and Bangladesh before starting his academic career.
