Brief Bio
As a lecturer and tutor at KOI, I teach academic writing and professional or business communication. In addition, I am passionate about teaching English literary studies and developing pedagogies of critical approaches to reading and writing, which is a key part of my work at KOI and the University of Sydney. I am currently a PhD candidate in modern English literature at the University of Sydney and a recipient of the Research Training Programme Stipend Scholarship. Previously, I completed an MA in English Studies at the University of Sydney and a BA in English (with Distinction) at the University of New South Wales. My research is on modern poetry, broadly speaking, with a particular interest in developing archival research, manuscript studies, reception studies, and comparative poetics as methods. My conference papers have been presented at the Modern Language Association Conference (2023), the Ezra Pound International Conference (2023 and 2022), and Australia’s Triennial Literary Studies Convention (2021).
