    He has been a member of the Army Reserve serving at Sydney University Regiment, 2 Trg Gp and HQ Trg Comd over a period of almost 40 years with Officer Training and then the Army Training System (ATS) and Technology Based Training (TBT).
    Academically, he worked at the University of Technology, Sydney for almost 42 years and as an inaugural member of Insearch. He has been responsible for co-ordinating subjects both UG and PG in Sydney and also in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Shanghai, China. He has designed courses in Business Law, Law of Meetings and Associations, Computer Law, Company Law, Taxation Law, Estate Planning and Insolvency.
    He has also had a long history with the International Bar Association (IBA) serving as Committee Vice Chairman, then Chair and later elected as a Council Member of the Section on General Practice.
    International Law

    Appointed a research fellow with the Max Planck Institute for Public International Law in Germany and ongoing contact with members. Served with the International Bar Association (IBA) in the Section on General Practice representing NSWIT and UTS in conferences in Rome, New York, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Budapest. Served as Vice Chairman and then Chairman of their Migration and Nationality Committee in Geneva, Vienna, Montreal, London, Strasbourg and New York and also was elected to the Council on General Practice where I attended Council Meetings in Edinburgh and Melbourne. I was also referred numerous cases from Amnesty International and UNHCR to my practice in Sydney.
    Major Consultancy Projects
  • Designed and conducted Business Law subjects for UTS and Taylors College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from the inauguration of the program to its winding up over a 10 year period..
  • Computer Law for Telstra Corporation;
  • Trade Practices Law for Members of the Swedish Parliament for Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce;
  • Business Law for Chinese delegation from Qingdao and Shaanxi;
  • Contemporary Business Law for MIRVAC course for INSEARCH/UTS Business
  • Developed courses for block mode delivery in conjunction with Turnaround Managers in (TMA).
  • Developed courses in Estate Planning for the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
  • November 2015 Helped organize a Conference for UTS, Institute of Advanced Analytics and presented 2 papers to the Shanghai Tax Delegation.
  • Similar presentation for the Guangzhou Tax Delegation to Access/UTS.
  • Worked on educational recognition of wealth management courses with the Society of Trust Estate Practitioners (UK).
  • Worked with UTS and ASIC on recommendations for the Financial Services Industry.
  • Worked with ARITA on the Ethics component of their Insolvency Practitioners accreditation program and provided 2 day courses to their students as well as examiner.
