Brief Bio
Nishith is a seasoned academic and banking professional with a wealth of experience spanning over a decade. Since 2017, he has been working as a faculty member at King’s Own Institute, where he specializes in teaching a diverse range of subjects including Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Accounting Theory and Issues, catering to both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
In addition, Nishith brings a rich background in banking, accumulating over 10 years of valuable experience with Big4 banks in Australia. Currently, he holds the position of Head of Credit (Commercial and Consumer Loans) at in1bank, where he leverages his extensive industry knowledge to enrich his teaching with practical insights. This unique combination of academic rigor and real-world experience allows Nishith to provide students with a holistic understanding of their studies, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
Nishith holds a Bachelor’s in Business with a major in Banking and Finance, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management, a Master of Professional Accounting and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Additionally, Nishith is an Associate Member of CPA Australia (ASA) and is currently pursuing a Master of Education (research) at the University of New South Wales.
Recognized for his academic excellence, Nishith was awarded the Academic Excellence Award during his Master of Professional Accounting program.
Beyond his professional pursuits, he is deeply engaged in community service, actively volunteering with various charities such as Foodbank, Cancer Council Australia, and the Australian Red Cross.
