    Dr. Rachid Hamadi is a Sessional Lecturer at KOI. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2005 from the University of New South Wales (UNSW, Australia). He also holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science obtained in 1995 and a B.Sc. (with Honours) obtained in 1991 both from the Science and Technology University of Algiers (USTHB, Algeria). He has over 30 years of experience in teaching. His primary areas of teaching are Programming, Databases, Web Technologies, and Software Engineering. He held Lecturer positions at UNSW, Federation University (Sydney campus), Victoria University (Sydney campus), CQU (Sydney campus), and USTHB (Algeria). His research interests lie in the areas of Formal Modeling of Business Processes, Exception Handling in Business Processes, Analysis and Verification of Business Processes, and Service Oriented Computing. He published more than 20 papers in international journals and conferences.
