Ian completed his bachelor’s degree by majoring in international trading in South Korea, then worked as a project manager in a construction company. He completed his MBA at the University of Wollongong in 1989 and then worked as a marketing consultant at an Australian Company in Seoul, South Korea. In 1992, he immigrated to Australia permanently. He was involved Australian education industry by working as an accounting manager in a college. Later, he was directly engaged in adult education as a lecturer in various colleges and higher education. At the same time, he established his own property development business in Sydney and Brisbane. He built residential houses, sold them, or rented them. His own industrial experience has been an advantage in reducing the gap between theories of business management and industry reality. His practical approach with examples helps students in a class to understand academic theories and apply the theories of business by students. Also, he completed a Graduate Certificate in Marketing at UTS and studied supply chain management at Sydney University. He has an interest in the Automobile, Mining, and Real Estate industries.
