Brief Bio
Dr. Jnanamurthy is a Senior Lecturer at King's Own Institute in Newcastle, Australia. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Information Science & Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, a Master of Technology in Software Engineering from Manipal University, a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has extensive experience teaching postgraduate and undergraduate students across Australian and international academic institutions.
Dr. Murthy's expertise covers a diverse array of subjects, including Software Engineering, Databases, Software Development Processes, Intelligent Systems, Algorithms, Programming languages, Software Testing, and Artificial Intelligence. He is actively involved in curriculum development at KOI and plays a role in developing various courses such as Artificial Intelligence and Ethics in AI. Dr. Murthy's research interests include Formal Software Verification, Software CASE tools, Software Development Processes, Trust Computing, Application of AI in Software Development, and Software Verification. He also has experience in the Software Industry, involving software development processes, and is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry by leveraging his involvement in practical programming subjects to provide students with a holistic learning experience.
