Dr. Nazmi Jarrar is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of accounting, with extensive experience in teaching, research, and professional certification. He earned his PhD in Accounting from Edith Cowan University, Australia, where his research focused on the impact of contextual factors, strategy, and management control systems on organizational performance.
Dr. Jarrar has taught various financial and managerial accounting, auditing, and finance courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across multiple universities in Australia, the Middle East, and other international locations. He has supervised PhD students and has been recognized for his contributions to academia, including a visiting scholar role at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Professionally, Dr. Jarrar is a Fellow CPA with CPA Australia, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, USA), and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA, USA).
