  • Brief Bio
    "Shuvashis Saha received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna, Bangladesh, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in Photonics and Nonlinear Optics from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of Sydney, Australia, in 2023. He served as a Lecturer at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, starting in 2015, and became an Assistant Professor in 2019. From 2019 to 2023, he conducted Ph.D. research at the University of Sydney, focusing on optical pulse propagation in nonlinear media, optical switching and sensing technology, and optical communication. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Structural Health Monitoring at the School of Civil Engineering, University of Sydney. His discipline of expertise is in Photonics and Nonlinear Optics, specialising in optical sensing technology for SHM, optical switching and networking, nonlinear optical phenomena, machine learning, and algorithm design."
