    Dr Mary Amponsah is an applied economist, an astute researcher, and a lecturer with over eight years of academic work experience. Mary received her PhD (Economics) from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and both her Masters and Bachelors (Economics) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Mary has worked in the public sector in government institutions, as a teaching and research assistant, and as an academic lecturer/tutor in the Tertiary Higher Education sector. Mary’s academic knowledge and expertise are in Development Economics, Econometrics, Business Statistics, Data Analysis, International economics, Financial Inclusion, Energy and Institutional economics, Monetary economics, and Business management-related topics.
    As a researcher, Mary has undertaken many research projects and analytical work on global issues. Mary has an active commitment to improving quality standards when performing statistical analysis and consigned duties.
    As a solution-oriented person, she is keen on applying her knowledge and skills in exciting and challenging roles. Therefore, she is passionate about contributing to sustainable development, inclusive economic growth, and financial inclusion and is driven by the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. Mary’s research objective is to convert data findings into empirical research for policy-based purposes to promote sustainable development and inclusiveness. She is an executive member of the Centre for African Research, Engagement, and Partnership, UON, Australia, and also has membership with professional associations including the Economics Society of Australia. Mary is also an assistant project coordinator at Refugees and Partnership Inc., Australia.
