I am a full member of Australian Chartered Accountants with 20 years of experience in corporate finance, and SMEs as a public practitioner. I have a Master of Professional Accounting from Central Queensland University. My corporate experiences include working for large, listed companies in financial services including Westpac, Challenger limited and Zuric insurance companies where I have held various senior accounting and finance roles at the Group and subsidiary companies. i have also briefly worked for Sydney Airport finance and treasury teams. I am a registered tax and BAS agent and provided tax and accounting advice to multi nationals and SMEs where I have been involved with comolex finance and tax structuring advice. Currently, I am the General Manager and at NetSurplus Chartered Accountants and part of their Advisory Board where I provide outsourced CFO services to SMEs.
I have been teaching accounting information systems, financial management, financial and corporate accounting, and tax at Tafe ATMC & KOI since 2012.
