Brief Bio
Dr. Sanjay Jha is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer (Academic) at King’s Own Institute in Sydney, Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from BIT, Mesra (1986), and earned his MBA (1993) and PhD (2020) degrees from CQ University, Australia. With over thirty years of professional experience, Sanjay has dedicated more than 13 years to various industries, including Mechatronics engineering (4 years), IT/IS in Mining Industries (7 years), and Computer-aided design and manufacturing (3 years). His extensive career also encompasses over 23 years of teaching at the tertiary level in Australian Universities.
Dr. Jha is a seasoned professional with a wealth of expertise in Information Technology, demonstrated through his comprehensive background in teaching, research, and doctoral supervision. He has authored book chapters on Social Media and Big Data, and his publications, exceeding twenty-five, span the fields of Education, Information Technology, Information Systems, Big Data, Cognitive Computing, and Teaching & Learning. His research contributions include topics such as Learning Analytics in Computer Education, Re-engineering Higher Education, and Digital Educational Technology.
