
Dr Nora Bhangi is the Academic Coordinator at the KOI Newcastle Campus. She earned her Bachelor of Arts (2010) degree from the Singapore University of Social Sciences where she majored in the English Language and a minor in Psychology. In 2013, she received her Masters of Teaching degree in English and Society and Culture from the University of Newcastle, Australia. Dr Nora was also awarded with a PhD in 2022 from the same institution. Her research focused on the connections between education and experience to professional success.
Her work exposure primarily revolves within the Australian higher education sector. She has worked in various departments particularly in global engagements and partnerships that focuses on the international student lifecycle. She is also an experienced lecturer and course coordinator. She has taught in the University of Newcastle and King's Own Institute (Newcastle). Dr Nora is passionate about working with students and can very much relate to the international student journey. She has continued to pursue her genuine interest in creating a positive ripple effect among students to inspire them to reach their own aspirations and success.
