We hope this information helps you with lodging your application to KOI. If you need additional clarification or information, please do not hesitate to contact KOI Admissions at admissions@koi.edu.au.

What to do when you do not meet minimum requirements

If you have checked your submission documents and find you do not meet the minimum requirements outlined above, contact KOI’s admissions department by email ([email protected]) or by phone (+61 2 9283 3583) and we will gladly provide detailed advice on how you should proceed further. However, below you will find a general guide on the type of advice you will be given depending on which requirements you do not meet.

When you do not have the minimum English level

You will need to contact [email protected] or [email protected] for advice on what you can do to meet KOI’s English entry requirements. Usually you will be advised to undertake an English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) and/or English for Academic Purposes (EAP) studies with one of our Direct Entry Partners. If you are advised to take these studies, we will provide you with a list of our partners which can also be accessed by clicking on the link below.

A List of ELICOS Partners

Please keep in mind that KOI does not arrange ELICOS or EAP studies on the behalf of students or agencies and thus these studies must be arranged independently.

When you do not meet minimum academic qualifications

Applicants usually find they do not have the minimum academic qualifications for KOI’s postgraduate programs. Unfortunately, there are no additional studies that you can undertake, unless it is to attain an Australian three year Bachelor degree, which will help you meet the requirements for postgraduate study.

In this case, KOI Admissions or KOI Marketing will recommend studying an undergraduate program with KOI first. If you have studied overseas in a relevant field, then you may also receive credits for your undergraduate studies if you choose to take this path.
